Vision Events Announces Winners and
Nominees of the Midsize Enterprise Innovation Awards
BEDFORD, N.H., May 14, 2003 – Vision Events, a Gartner,
Inc. (NYSE: IT and ITB) company, today announced the winners and nominees
of the Midsize Enterprise Innovation Awards from the East Coast 2003
event. A senior IT executive and technology vendors were chosen and
honored during Midsize Enterprise Summit, April 27-29, 2003 at an
awards dinner and ceremony at the Hyatt Regency Grand Cypress Resort
in Orlando, Florida.

The hundreds of prequalified senior IT executives who attend Midsize
Enterprise Summit completed confidential ballots to select technology
vendors for Midsize Enterprise Innovation Awards, after previewing
and learning about new technologies and products in private boardroom

IT Executive of the Year
Dr. Catherine Aczel Boivie, Vice President of IS and CIO for The British
Columbia Automobile Association (BCAA) was named IT Executive of the
Year. Boivie was selected for her contributions to the overall development
and success of the Midsize Enterprise Summit events and for being
the founding chair of the CIO Association of British Columbia, advocating
the need for networking among IT professionals. In addition, she is
a member of the Conference Board of Canada CIO Council and a Big Sister.
