Gartner Vision Events
Announces Fall 2003 Lineup
Events Cover Key Technology
Markets from Consumer to Enterprise, Including Two New Events Focused
on Federal Government and Project Management
BEDFORD, N.H., August 15, 2003 — Vision Events, a
Gartner, Inc. (NYSE: IT and ITB) company, announced today seven major
U.S. and European Events that will take place from the beginning of
September through the end of 2003.
The Gartner Vision Events Fall lineup covers a broad range of strategically
important technology sectors, from the retail and IT channels to the
midsize business and federal government markets. Many of the Events
are experiencing increased participation from technology vendors and
the IT and business executives who attend on an invitation-only basis.
Government Solution Summit and Project Portfolio Management Europe,
both set for December, are taking place for the first time.
"These Events are receiving very strong support from our vendor and
attendee communities," said Philip McKay, vice president and general
manager of Gartner Vision Events. "In a challenging environment events
need to be highly focused and demonstrate measurable business value.
The strong participation levels we're seeing are indicative of the
proven and uniquely successful business model of our leading brands,
as well as the new opportunities presented by key growth markets like
the federal government."
The schedule of events through the remainder of 2003 includes:
